I love this #GrassyKnoll. #MemoryLane #UArizona #UAwildcats #Tucson #COLLEGE!!!! (at The University of Arizona)
Havin’ some fun with the colors I was able to pull out of the RAW file.
Shot this at sunset March 17th, 2014 with my trusty K-5 and Pentax M 50mm 1.7 wide open
Everyone and their cameras were looking towards the horizon where the sun was setting….then there was me…looking the opposite direction…at this little scene. To me the light from the sunset was more interesting than watching the sun…There were hardly any clouds to catch the color and seemed a bit blah.
It was a good day at Gate’s Pass. Smoked a joint of outdoor Blue Dream to myself and wandered around with my camera.
This image only came about because of that graffiti on the rock and the 50mm lens my K-5 was wearing. It’s a short telephoto on this camera, so it was more of a challenge to use as a walk around lens. I do love a good challenge….
The light in the scene was rather dull ( afternoon sun in AZ) so I pulled some color out of the RAW file.
Scenery like this is a nice change up from the Sonora Desert….I prefer forests any day of the week. Something about them feels better. (and also I grew up in a forested area in the East Bay, CA.) I forget the name of this trail…I just drove up Mt. Lemmon and randomly pulled over at a trail head about 8,000 feet up.
The smell of pine trees in crisp mountain air is one of my all time favorite things.
Messed around with this image in Nik Analog Efex. It’s and interesting bit of software.

I don’t have the best lens set up for Moon photos, but still managed some decent shots.
Just messin’ around with the full moon light as I was waiting for the eclipse to start.
Coyote Mustache .
this was my first time shooting a live band ( that i had nothing to do with )
It was hip.
I will get better.
We loved custom #organic printing for @stellajava here in #Tucson! Isn’t that a rad interior?! #coffee #cafe #coffeeshop
